1.Installation
Choose a suitable location for the rack mountable switch,Suitable power source,Keep it away from heat sources and sunlight,Keep it away from electromagnetic interference,Allow 10 cm space above the unit for good ventilation

Plug the power cable into the socket at the rear of the switch and an appropriate power source. The switch will adjust the input voltage automatically within the input range indicated on the rear panel.
The switch performs a self-test (all LED indicators on the status panel flash then sweep from left to right).
To connect data sources, plug one end of an Ethernet cable into one of the numbered RJ45 ports of the switch and connect the other end to the source. Category 3, 4 or 5 cables can be used.

2.LED Description
PWR:    Lit when the power is coming up.
100(TP1-8):Lit when TP speed is 100Mbps
Link/Act(TP1-8):Lit when TP connection is good.
       Blinks when TP data is transmitting.
FX Link/Act:Lit when TP connection is good.
           Blinks when TP data is transmitting.

The switch is L2 line speed smart Ethernet switch . The switch provides 8 10/100M auto-negotiation Ethernet port, 1 gigabit SFP multiplex ports, increase bandwidth and reduce access latency for the client connection and meet the needed of high load. the switch support for WEB management, port bandwidth control, port mirroring, port trunk, VLAN classification, QoS control strategy, security settings and other functions.
The broadcast and multicast traffic within the same VLAN will not be forwarded to other VLAN groups.

    1.IP address of the switch is 192.168.2.1; Please set LAN card address as 192.168.2. * ('*' is to say, customers can choose any of 1-254),and subnet mask 255.255.255.0
2,Open the browser of IE, and input the address of IP of this product in the address column:192.168.2.1, and press "Enter" to get into interface of the router.
3,Please input user name 'admin' and password 'system' in the following interface, and press <Ok> button.
